The individualized services that Ms. Rosefielde provides to her clients begin with a home or site visit. Each work of art is then photographed, measured and examined. A thorough history of the collection including provenance information, and analysis of client’s needs, are carefully noted.
Research begins with a study of International Auction prices for the past five years. These are compared to national and local markets to establish a financial profile of each artist’s works. The completed project is presented in an attractive readable form with photographs.
Services for private collectors may also include traveling out of town to a client or to see the art work, to sell pieces or whole collections, and to arrange for transportation and insurance for collections.
Follow up services may include curatorial work and advice for restoration. Much of Rosefielde’s work is referred by local museums, insurance companies and satisfied clients. Fee for service is on an hourly basis and has no relation to the appraised value of the collection.
